im back from germany,
its such a schone (beautiful one) place!
i wna retire there!!
made me changed my view of arts =)
i bought 2books which cost $50!!

first thing that greeted me was the wonderful weather!!
cooler than SouthKorea!!
cool breeze sweeping thru ur hair feeling =)
nxt was the wonderful traffic..
cars can turn in anywhr..


germans' love for the arts can be seen not only in there artictecture

but also manifesterd on the...
walls, toilet doors, cars...

brings me to my first sttraction..
BERLIN WALL





the wall that separate east n west germany,
as well as symbol of a separated europe ,
fell on 1989
this was a symbolic act of international tolerance of ideology =)
now wads left is a wall filled wif colours and a future filled with possibilities =)

learnt how to read a lil hieroglyphs (those bird n pictorial egyptian language)

potsdam is quite diff from berlin..
less crowded, more amazing buildings/castles/palaces

this is the exact place Stalin, Truman and Churchill sat down to decide germany's fate,
aka potsdam conference,

history unfolded right infront of our eyes..


this cathedral was completely destroyed during WW2,
the grey tiles were from the cathedral before the bomb.
german government began rebuilding it when its economy strengthen..
gernan government spend a great deal of money preserving, maintaining and constructing art every year..

spent a long bus ride to prague..
a lil overrated as the most beautiful city
cuz most beautiful is our garden city singapore right XD

ok its rly beautiful =)
that is if u like xtremely crowded and busy cities =)
but there was a few places our group stood in awe before..

1.breath-taking view of city of prague
2. the saint Vitus Cathedral is nothing i have imagined before.
we juz gasped in astonisment.

look at the sad shallow eyes of the nothing but skeleton jews,
sort of can feel their suffering..

how can one man's racist idea lead to 6million deaths of one race??
i wonder if the SA and SS (nazi special police and army)
have eyes or ears..
cant they see past the race into the innocent eyes?
cant they hear their screams?
they have a veh large role to play in the holocaust.
to each his own will, if they had a heart and their own mind,
they would not be brainwashed to commit such atrocities.
for this, hitler and his people hv to be accountable on judgement day..

it even has masculine/feminine noun and article
(they are 3 diff 'the' in german, die-feminine, der-masculine, das -neuter)

germans are veh particular bout mannerism.
you better be punctual!!!
n they can be veh strict, got scolded by a curator n the security guard.
but they are gracious ppl,
nv complain or anyth, luckily.

bavarian motor works..

they say some ppl come here to see the architecture not the cars.
i totally agree.
all the cars feel th same to me..
haha..
but the architecture was worth visiting..
BMW showroom has the longest padestrain brigde in whole of germany, if i didn hear wrongly XD
the building is in the shape of a tornado,

to symbolise strength and force..
cool right?

and the glass-mirror exterior is used to reflect the BMW admin and BMW musuem,
the architect's teacher designed them..
