i attended your funeral
nobody wanted to part with you
some were sobbing
most of them had eyes that were red and teary
i sat down quietly at a corner
observing your family from afar
your dad looks older and weaker since i last saw him
holding your mum
she is hysterical
your brother and your friends guarded the place where you rested
they missed you.
the white velvet cloth that covers you were lifted up gently by the wind
i thought it was pretty
i thought maybe i could write a poem about it
i felt a tiny bit of guilt though
to thk of things that way
where everyone else is sour
maybe
i hv let you down
im sorry
but
it dawn to me that you will never ever attend my funeral
i wud have accepted an apology you know.
but sadly you can never apologise.

at least i made an effort to come by
even though you let me down (too much).
